Flyers for March 1st

February 28, 2008 10:09 pm by Munkee_Boy

The following are three flyers that are made to invite the general public to March 15th when we meet on the 1st of March. We have refrained from using the more professional pamphlets which we are saving for the 15th. These A4 flyers are designed to inspire curiosity and invite people to make themselves aware/join us in our cause. Please comment if you wish to add anything or find any errors. Your assistance is much appreciated.

2nd of Mar Edit:

Our selection of flyers has grown. Please check out the following album, and get these up around Adelaide leading up to Mar 15th:

You have two from’s on the first flyer - Why are they not required to keep harmful practices from from their doctrines?

See you on the 15th!

Sorry, being pedantic again.

First flyer:
Should be “Why did so many of Scientology’s followers needlessly die?” rather than Scientologies and needlessley.
Also it should be critics’ rather than critic’s, and disinformation has an extra m in it :P
[As well as the correction in the above post.]

Second flyer:
In the sentence about Scientology being known to harrass its critics, there is an unneeded apostrophe in the word “its”.

Otherwise they’re great :D

Haha, no problems at all. They’re only minor things, I’m just pretty much a self-confessed grammar nazi, alas :P

I noticed all those things, I just wanted to see if anyone else would.

>_>

I think I’ll grab the second and third flyers, myself.

grammar nazis are good.

Means we seem professional and not a bunch of year five spelling dropouts

Hey, I’ld hate to hijack the topic here, but are people going to be wearing white roses?

Its sincire, shows we care more than the “Cyber Terrorists” image that some sects of the media have been giving us.

I have arranged for grammatically corrected flyers to be printed and brought to the rally. A surplus will be brought so they can be shared out amongst the anonymous munchkin collective.

My munchkins send me feedback from the March01 rally, and the general status is success.

Good tidings and the like to the poelpe who produced the fliers and posters. As we can see there are a few linguistically inclined people involved, if the flyers are posted on the site a few days earlier, we’ll have more time to collectively QA and edit them.

That said, ten points to the people who put in the effort to make fliers, with typos or otherwise. I for one appreciate your action, and my munchkins say likewise.

I’ve been trolling many boards, and the idea of the white rose has came up several times. Something to do with a German Anti-Nazi movement during WWII (speaking out when your voice is suppressed under threat, etc.)

If i had the time off, and the resources, I would rock up to March 15th with a mass order of pin on pastic roses (can be reused). But meh.

I’ll stick to relaying information
