With the narconon treatment centres that treat all sorts of addictions, what is their approach to detoxing a patient who is an alcoholic. Considering Valium needs to be used to stop seizures that can cause death, and CoS doesn’t use medicines linked with psychiatry. Simply using a sauna and vitamins on top of whatever else is dangerous and irresponsible, and would put the patient at risk of harm.

i just wanna point out that the classic response is “Scienos have other more socially accepted religions, so when asked they identify with the other” what you want to rebutt with is the fact that Scientology is *not* compatible with other religions

I’d like to know why Co$ claims 150,000 members in Australia, when only 2500 Australians listed Scientology as their religion in the census. And why they claim to be the largest growing religion when all studies show that to be Islam.

Ian Hunter MLC is speaking today on the Hillsong/Mercy Ministries story from a few weeks back (where they were keeping depressed women locked up and treating them with excorsisms). Apparently Mercy is planning on opening a centre in Adelaide (!) and he is very much against them operating here. Perhaps he’s a good guy to approach about Scientology?

As far as questions go, I would like to ask the following:

Exactly what is with Scientology’s sudden association with ‘God’? What does God have to do with Scientology? (Although I have not visited myself (no proxy condom) a recent discussion via Enturb. was about their recent redesign of the official website and Scientology beginning to use references to ‘God’.)

Why has LRH not come back yet even though 20 years have passed?

Where are the independent research papers proving Scientology vitamin treatments actually work? Plenty of papers have been produced on other religions, why not Scientology?

How come I can walk into any Catholic or Christian Church, any Mosque, Christadelphian Ecclesia etc. and receive free pamphlets, bibles and information, yet when I walk into the Church of Scientology building I get slugged with a fee just to see their basic texts?

Why are there so many secret Scientology front groups? Why do they hide links to your organisation?

Alot of the questions are rather unsuitable, as they are very accusing - It alot like them saying to us “Anonymous are terrorists, as evident from the fox 11 report showing the exploding van, Why does Anonymous need to explode vans?” - as much as that has happened, epically with the “Anonymous Exposed” DVD. Simple questions - How does Scientology deal with in-fighting? Are the guidelines and ethic regulations setup by the cult the final word and any argument an act of suppression or does the church allow people to formally complain about problems?

Ok, a specific question. Is anyone currently in the Sydney RPF and how long have they been there? Does the Sydney RPF follows the same guidelines as the one in Gilman Springs in the US as regards treatment of the inmates? What is the youngest person in the RPF? Are Hubbard’s policies regarding the RPF followed to the letter? (I can dig out a link for that if you need it.) Does the Sydney RPF have a RPF’s RPF? What are his feelings regarding the existence of the RPF?
