June Mini-Event #1: Operation Ninja Crashers

May 22, 2008 1:58 pm by mrDogfud

Congratulations on all your efforts lately, Anonymous. Public awareness of our movement and our cause continues to grow. We are winning hearts and minds. Our message is being heard and understood. Good work, Anonymous.

…but this is not the time to get complacent!!

It’s time to gear up for next month’s raid Operation Sea ARRRGH! which will climax on June 14 at 2pm in Victoria Square. We need to spend the next few weeks recruiting as many buccaneers to the cause as possible. Posters, stickers, cards, other viral marketing etc: get em out everywhere. Tell all your friends; get on board the good ship Anonymous!

Anonymous is also planning several mini-events, specifically designed to increase our numbers for the main event. The first of these mini-events is Operation Ninja Crashers, going down this Saturday May 24 (2.30-4) in Hindmarsh Square.

There is a Facebook meet-up event planned for that time, at that location, for self-declared ninjas. Anonymous plans to infiltrate, convert and otherwise win-over these ninjas to the Anonymous cause (using ninja-specific hand-outs etc).

There will be moar mini-events leading up to June 14 (a Popeye cruise? a Free Hugs run?). But only if you get into the forums or the IRC and start organising!

Hey guys, its nice to know that our event is big enough to warrant infiltration, but can you try and keep it on the down-low. I personally support your cause but our event is about having fun doing something random and startling the public… which I doubt would make our participants particularly good canditates for you to recruit.

However, if you’re coming then thats great for the event and I understand some of you have ninja experience. If you’re giving out flyers don’t indicate that your part of the Adelaide Flash Mob and try not to annoy people.

Have a good one

Hey ninja org.

Down lo was the plan.

And I respectfully disagree, if they’re willing to go out and have some fun in the streets, actually rock up and dress up, I think they’d be willing to do it for a cause with rockin’ music and dancing.

also caek.

Either way, they either know about it, or they don’t, we’re just going to be there to inform the ones who don’t.

No spoiling of fun.

Heck I might have gone if I didn’t think Anon was more important :D

I think the message was spread well at the Ninja Raid pre-amble with out it being detractive in anyway from the ninjanuity of it all.

Applauds to the Ninja Raid Organiser for a good event!

P.S. “Having fun doing something random and startling the public is what Anonymous is looking for!” ;)
