Messengers are printed every Wednesday, so the closest print date is the 2nd July, yet the article is supposedly dated the 3rd? I’ve gone cover-to-cover of both the East Torrens and the Eastern Courier and haven’t seen squat. Was this an online article of printed? I can look at other Messenger papers early next week :)

What do you mean by “won’t want to side with us.” A public official siding with someone is useful because they are PUBLIC.. to do that she would have had to have publicly stated her views, at which point scilons would have whinged anyway. The bastard comment is nothing in aussie politics. Been there, done that.. hence the democrat party slogan from early 90s.. “Well keep the bastards honest!” unfortunately they weren’t talking about scientology. Even our state premier says it’s ok! My next vote goes to Rann! So then.. was she going to help us unpublicly? By joining in with a guy fawkes mask at our protests? “We” screwed up nothing.
She wasn’t protesting with us… nor lobbying for us. All she did was agree with our view on the tax issue.. a comment made 2 months ago. nothing more. Simple. The rest is internal parties sooking for not towing the line. Something the Labor party is historically notorious for, along with their tall poppy syndrome. (Of course you don’t know what I’m talking about cos your not from Aus are you? So stop acting like you understand anything… 4chan boy.)

Here is another link. By the way, no cameras were hidden. They were as prevailant as they were at any protest. It would have been no different as if they’d quoted her. Besides, just about anyone who has read the article, and commented on any site online has supported her. Anyone who understands how people in the world actually work would realise that this whole chain of events (unintended.. I might add..) has been of benefit to Anonymous. Jane has much support, particularly from hard working aussies who are subsidising the bastards! Anyone can tell that “It was a private conversation and [she] was expressing a personal view. There’s nothing more to add.” Besides, she was backed by Mike Rann anyway.

Oh, and what backlash? She could event have more support from this!
In Australis we don’t spaz out when people say bastard on T.V. or Radio as bad as people in the U.S. (See the Radio satire @ start of thread.)
