So yesterday i was skimming through the newspaper when i came across a tiny article near the end of the world news.

"Scientology fraud fine"

PARIS: A French court convicted the Church of Scientology of fraud and fined it more than $900,000 yesterday but stopped short of banning the group as prosecutors had demanded.
The groups French branch immediately announced it would appeal against the verdict.
The court convicted Scientology's French office, its library and six of its leaders of organised fraud for pressuring members into handing over money.

I read about this originally about a year ago on these boards.

Original link can be found here:

As i was reading through i said to myself, fuck yeah. This is quite a significant victory. While the church has not been 'banned', this is the first step towards that. This just goes to show, that while scientology have laid low in the past few months and the Anon pressure seems to have loosened up a bit, there are still people fighting them and court cases still being processed around the world. This should make all of us feel good, because of us as a entirety world wide (and others fighting against CoS [wise beard man for example]), it has helped push and cripple the churches power and handed out free knowledge and cake for a better future.

I think over the past year and a half, the general opinion of Scientology has changed from "crazy alien religion" to "crazy alien cult that wants your money and will sue you to get it".

In 1995 Germany ruled that Scientology is not a religion; and if anyone could spot a dangerous fanatical movement, before it gets out of hand, its the Germans

This news make me feel good. It's satisfying to see something being done about their dodgey practices. This has been a good week :)

I'm not sure if this is posted elsewhere on here yet, but so much more has happened.

Let's see if I can dig it up again…

I also heard from a friend that Katie Holmes may just be divorcing Tom Cruise. But I don't care too much to look in to things about that.

The rest of this isn't too recent, but it was AWESOME for us here all the same.

6 million dollars, thats hilarious. When i first read it thought it said he had injuries to his shoulders, eyebrows and knees.

Looks like they are trying to borrow some credibility.
