Well after the success of Sea AARGH, here’s another opportunity for Anonymous.

July 26, 2008 marks the 7 month anniversary since the release of the now infamous "Message to Scientology" video on youtube, the day that the majority of Anons consider to be the start of our campaign proper. The protests so far have been going AMAZINGLY so far… but it’s time to cause another ’stir’. 2/10 shook Scientology up because they didn’t think we’d pull it off. 3/15 shook them up again because they didn’t think we’d follow through a second time… but we need to outdo ourselves again, we need to shake the very foundation of Scientology and the public.
I have heard from dozens of Anons who have proposed that, in order to better demonstrate our strength and numbers, as well as our dedication, a series of "super-scaled" rallies should be held instead of the traditional small turnout-lots of cities format we’ve been using.
What do I mean by super-scaled? Each city that holds a super-rally will have a goal for their protest: to reach several times their city’s record for protesters, essentially turning the area of the city near the Scientology center into "Anonville" for the day.
So if you want to have some fun with some other Anons, and wouldn’t mind a holiday to Sydney to party and protest with others from all around Australia, here’s an opportunity for you and your friends.
So what do you think about it?

NOW is the time to start planning the trip.
I think getting a bus organised so many anon could go is what we shoud do, we could make a real event of this, ANON ROADTRIP.
people are still welcome to organise their own flights.

I know that I wouldn’t be able to go to Sydney, as much as I’d love to.
I have parental figures that don’t know I fight dangerous cults…I think I’ll keep it that way for now. I still haven’t fully told them I’m Wiccan.

cmon guys, I need moar interest if there’s to be a bus, if you’re reading this, and if you’re THINKING of going, post. definates post too :) , but I need a register of INTEREST before I’m gonna ring bus people.

Both the event and the bus idea are so freaking AWESOME!
I think the mid-year exam winter of discontent is what may be deterring some folk.. Plus Anonville clashes with AVCON..

This is a seperate event to the monthly raids. I don't think there is any worldwide organisation regarding this event, just for Aus Anon.

I'm not sure, but isn't this more important than AVcon? Anon at AVcon? Perhaps those who stay could do a mini raid there?

I think it would be a definate plus if there were an 'anon contingent' there.
AV Con is basically the most suitable event ever to dress up and go as Anon.
It'll be nice to see something other than Naruto and blah.
so if you're not going to Anonville, I say go for it!

Both are easily possible. I'm one to count in, Ill happily head to Sydney. I might have one or two more interested, I'll see what's happening.

I should be able to make it up to sydney. In the process of getting another job atm, and with what my current employer has done to me I've got a lot of free time on my hands

To Admin: ANON ROADTRIP, wouldn't this be a dangerous if we wern't decentralised to get to sydney? It makes us into a hotspot for scions to target. All for the trip, but travelling between here and Sydney makes it dangerous.

Just an update, due to lack of concrete interests, and citing security concerns, anonville BUS is cancelled. or at least I'm not gonna organise it.
I'm going via plane.
I suggest those whom will go book bloody soon, because it is next week :D
