A thought occoured to get more people to show up.
Would a mass email to everyone signed up on the forums work?
Beaucse a raid with a larger number of people would be awesome, in my opinion.

i agree rammanon.
a mass email might help, but i was thinking of the ideas for the last protest, a series of adventures into town to hand out fliers and stick up posters/advertise when the next protest is, i'm sure that'll get at least a few peoples attention.

i was thinking that we should look at protesting at different shopping centers around the place to get the word out abit. just a thought.

do the majority of us live down south or city ish?
was thinking either collonades (would have to be in car park or inside wouldnt trust the lawned area with all the druggies.) or marion shoppnig center. it just seems that we only ever are in the city and that maybe we need to start looking at other types of protests aswell, eg visual via the internet, maybe we could look at creating a podcast once a month and get that added to the site. stuff like that.
i have lots of ideas i just have to sift throught the extremly crazy ones and freakin imposible to fees ones and get to the good ones.

Putting material around Marion and other shopping centres sounds like a good idea. However, I wouldn't want to do it masked. Security wouldn't allow the shopping centre(s) to become political. They are better placed to put flyers, and perhaps posters, with permission in the different shops.
Myself and Vigil won't be able to make it to the 17th so the 24th would be preferrable for the protest.

Only 5 people have seen this thread and posted on it, and 5 isn't all that big a number for protesting.

i can do marion very well, the city is abit harder for me to organise. (my parents arnt in the loop at the moment) i never really go into the city by my self so its kinda hard. marion is easy tho.

We could do a mini raid at each major shopping center each weekend.
Not only would we get more people to sign the petition, we might get some more people protesting as well!

comp wont be fixed for a few weeks(more photoshop CS4 wont be fixed for that long) got to get my disks back from a mate to reinstall it.
ill try and get it to work with paintshop(cringes) if not ill tell you by end of next week, so someone else can do a quick create.
also what is the exact date of next one???

i should be able to come not entirely sure, cant do up fliers tho sorry, photoshop not working at the moment.
if someone could bring a video cam ide like to film differnet parts to create a vid for AnonSA as an informative to post around and hopefully get other anon sites to post and stuff.
also if someone could find a legal form allowing us to film people for use by us would be good and ill change it to suit us. that way i can film different peoples responses to scientology.
also if someone is driving we should get a picnic table down there that way we can set-up a petition signing. (gather it will look more profesional then it did last time)

A new vid for Adelaide Anon would be cool, I'd like to see that.
* However when random members of the public have been included in anon vids, they approached protesters. We will not be bowling up to people in the street with a camera and asking them what they think of Scientology. It's unlikely to happen in Adelaide but if someone approaches us and has something to say about the cult while we're filming, we can just ask if they're comfortable with us putting them up on youtube.
About setting up a space, this has been explained many times before: getting the permit required to demonstrate in public space is not an option for us. A member of the group has to organise the permit which involves putting their name on public record, which anyone (Scilons) can access. The cops have said we're fine to protest as long as we keep on the move and don't linger in once space for very long.
Vocis and I also think Adelaide missed the boat a bit with petitions for the Xenuphon Inquiry, and you've seen how few signatories this little city provides anyway. My focus has always been on innoculating the public through the dissemination of information, which I feel has been achieved quite well as indicated by the positive response from the public that I've experienced during raids over the last year.
I'd like to attend Saturday, but uni will probably be in the way again.
