In 1995 Germany ruled that Scientology is not a religion; and if anyone could spot a dangerous fanatical movement, before it gets out of hand, its the Germans

I have a *STUFF THAT COULD IDENTIFY YOU <3 admin* that finishes about 2:30-3:00 p.m. that day. I made a sign also. It says "SCIENTOLOGY IS A BUSINESS". How about 3:00 p.m. August 22nd Victoria Square? That would be perfect for me!

Okay, I have a mate ready to participate as well. Currently in the process of printing out leaflets n' all. Next stage is to prepare the pamphlets and then get my mask. I need to know the details of the protest as well.
As in, do you have the permit to protest? What are the protest times? How many people are attending? Plus anything else.

Im assuming i should be feeling good that there are a lot of new faces, but it to be perfectly honest it makes me a little nervous.
None the less i should be able to attend, thankfully i have been given a miracle so i can attend.

The current idea is we will meet in Victoria Square, 3PM, Saturday the 22nd. Rest assured the police are cool with our presence. We are expecting ~10-15 (those who have expressed interest so far). We can organise a mask either before or on the day, whichever you feel more comfortable.

Me and my mate don't have proper GF masks so we might have to go with the "Go-Lo" version (which sucks). Unless anyone has two spares.

Sorry, there are alot of us who can't make it on Monday. The Weekends seem to be the best time for us, although you could come along for some mini raiding if you do so want?
Also, found a resource for Anonymous wallpapers on WWP.

\do you have the permit to protest? \
This issue has been brought up many times, I'm thinking that anon should seek some legal advice, just so we have a solid answer.
As far as I know, and I Am Not A Lawyer:
We have only lodged (and gotten) a permit for the VERY FIRST protest.
every other one, no.
so in practice, we have not. ever. and I've been to many.
I believe that by law we have a legal right to protest in australia. In conversation with police (actually attending protests) agree with this.
with a permit, you can be a bit rowdier, and is generally when you've got upwards of 100 people rocking up, but even then, it doesn't matter. it's not like spontaneous assembly is illegal.
it just gives the council notice, and telling the police is something that I believe has been typically done as a courtesy.
I believe that lawyers should be contacted, and we get some solid TEH LAW grounds, and citations around this.
I think if we've got some solid information regarding this, people would be a lot more willing to attend.
We know in practice that it's fine, but it helps that 'testing the water' phase.

Having official permits does have a peace-of-mind appeal to it, and being Fully Legit does legally proof us. However, my understanding is that permits became unnecessary for us, as we don’t take up a public site to protest, but keep on the move, and Anon quickly became an accepted peaceful presence along the mall. The police stopped bothering to follow us (mainly for our own protection), and now it is to the point where cops stroll past us along the street and don’t bat an eye.
We haven’t bothered with permits for over a year, and we haven’t had a problem yet as far as I am aware. Because of this, I don’t think having a permit will make the protests more attractive to potential joiners and the like.
Another factor making us reluctant to get permits is that it requires putting your real name on a public record, where the scilons access it. None of us feel that getting a permit is worth namefagging ourselves, and no one will volunteer to be the one. So if you personally want a permit – which I agree would be a nice investment – we support you getting it.

Dear Anonsa,
I would firstly like to outline the fact that I am highly supportive of your cause, but due to my individual circumstances, am unable to get directly involved with the protesting. This is due, in part, to the fact that if I was to be identified, there could well be repurcussions with people I associate with. However, I do wish to support the cause indirectly, but have not as of yet been able to do so.
I notice that you are apprehensive about obtaining a permit for reasons of anonymity. However, I am happy to obtain a permit for you, on behalf of the company I oversee and work for. This would provide you full legality and additional protection, without the need for you, as individuals, to risk getting identified by the Church of Scientology via public records.
If somebody would like to contact me, they may do so on 51q4em8tn3kb5k3u@mailcatch.com. The temporary email addres I am using is necessitated due to the awkward situation I am in. I will endeavour to contact whomever contacts me or posts a contact email address within 24 hours.
All the very best of luck Anon.
Yours faithfully,
Mr. Pink.

POSTGAME: The raid went well. 8 anons appeared (What happened to the rest?). It didn’t rain and we handed out 200+ flyers. We also got held up by 2 strange folk asking about towels, existentialism and a bizarre take on yin-yang philosophy?! Overall it was a good day :)
