Anyone else noticing a very strong Scientologist presence in-and-around the Adelaide CBD recently? I work full-time in town, and it seems that every time I go on my break to get lunch I see Scientologists handing out information flyers and so-forth inviting people into the 'Church' for more information/to get 'Free Stress Tests.'

In addition, I've heard from friends that they've been receiving telephone calls from CoS telling them about information nights and so-forth; when they've never given any of their information to the CoS. If true, this places a very strong inference that the CoS are cold-calling people in the hopes of brainwashing them.

Could very well be that CoS are going into damage control mode after everything that Senator Xenphon is doing recently, and are trying to recruit more members. But is anyone else noticing increased Scientologist activity?
