Send her the gold pack press kit one of the anons put together. I'll dig up the link for it. Also send her stuff that's relevant to Adelaide and some of the articles about kids and education in the CoS – the ExScio kids website would be ideal. The fact she was so interested is truly a win of epic, epic proportions.

Gold press pack d/l's:
Rapid share:

Megaupload (WARNING: MAY CONTAIN NSFW ADS):

Also: * tell her about the Australian RPF which is in Sydney. (I have that information from an excellent and reliable source).

* remind her about the Anderson Report from 1965 which was conducted in Victoria and pertains to the entire nation.

Seeing as you're willing to print-and-post (bless you, my printer is FUBAR'd right now), if you want help with a cover letter, I'm happy to help you out there, I've done enough of those in my time. (I feel old!) We can hive-mind it if you want.

Seeing as our Admin has been named, if he's willing, he could be given as her contact?

just to let u know, that goldpack is inside the press pack on the front page of AnonSA, along with a few other bibs and bobs that might be appropriate, or at least a starting point to hivemind it :)

As a member of her Electorate I think I might go along to the next open council meeting and raise the Co$ as an issue.

Sound good?

Maybe give her office a call and ask? Just say something like you're a member of her electorate and would like to attend the next open meeting, where and when would it be, plizkthx. :)

Back to infos, this lot might be useful to include: http://www.apologeticsindex.org/s04a01.html#unmasked

from the video footage, it seems she's quite interested in what they've specifically done to "us" (warning: tl-dr)

i suggest a personal aside from Anon SA's most fair gamed web admin (?) – perhaps a short letter 'this is what happened to me when i applied for a permit for us to protest peacefully' without the overwhelming scilon history lesson. she can always get more info from our site/download press pack etc

bit hard for her to bring up issues in parliament that are NOT directly SA related I guess & we might have more luck focusing on particular items (ie fair gamed in SA _&_ the petition items (revoking sci's tax exemption status, enquiry into fairgame+disconnection policies, alter definition of religion to include provisions for human rights protection)) rather than trying to convince her that scientology deserves further scrutiny.

clearly she's hip to the cause, she just needs fuel to fire the political machine. direct personal testimony could supply her with this, imho :)

There is something else that can be brought up with her that is relevant to SA – for some reason (and I'm still not sure how this works, having discussions with some legal and accountant friends to figure it) the CoS charity status is b.c it's registered here in Adelaide. How that works on the international scale that it does is, tbh, beyond me. But I'm sure it'd be something worth mentioning to Jane.

I think it might be a really good idea to give her a taping of what Scientology thinks about people in school since there is a video available verifying that they try to get people to drop out of school and that this is court documented and that portions of this video also have a tape that is played which states the fact that school education is no good may be that would get her to start really looking more deeply into the situation at hand.

Just a thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooh, yes, that's a good idea, too. They're big on people ignoring education in favour of joining the Sea Org.

Or should that be Sea Arrgh? ;)
