Okay Anon, what are we doing for Jan? Globals are set to be either the 10th or 17th according to the hivemind. Which one shall we pick and protest? Which route? Which cake?

In 1995 Germany ruled that Scientology is not a religion; and if anyone could spot a dangerous fanatical movement, before it gets out of hand, its the Germans

We skipped December, we shouldn't get too complacent. I know Adelaide is the land of naps and general apathy, but we should try and get past that and keep up the pressure.
Hell, we could do what some of the London Anons did and take a comfy chair to the raid and sit in style across the road from them. But it's my opinion that we shouldn't skip Jan and we shouldn't be complacent. After all, they have their UK charity status because of legal finangling in our city. We don't know how that all works, but Adelaide is important in the overall scheme of things.

Vanilla mud cake?
I'll see you there on the 17th. I agree, we should still make an apparence. I've been asked if we can make a special introduction to 2009 with an RickRoll to the org. The same route?, it's worked fine for us, lots of people along the mall and a chance to answer questions at the balls.
Also for consideration: epic music with totalitarian/religious connotations.

Vanilla mud cake? OMG where does one find this? That sounds awesome!
Same route sounds good to me. Hopefully it won't be stinking hot.

Hey folks, I have to admit I've been a bit busy this month too.. its still holidays!
I do agree we shouldn't get complacent, but i think a February focus / anniversary would be the good way to go! I know some people who wish they'd known about us earlier =D
If people do choose to go January, do expect their regular weird antics!
(i suggest a sign saying 'this man is a scientologist')

Oh defo the anniversary would be Feb – there's a lot of talk about it on WWP. But even a mini raid in Jan would be good. I don't recommend going out in the heat covered with vaseline and pubes, tho'. NYC Anon Agent Pubis did that on the weekend, and it's cold over there. Be slimey and ick here!

I shall bring a bunch of 'why we protest' flyers and a camera. We also need some signs as thetan suggests. The comfy/folding chair idea sounds promising. Anyone willing to bring along a boombox for rickrolling and epic tunes?
Weather for Saturday:
Fine, warm and sunny. Min 15. Max 30.

EndGame Report:
This month was a mini raid. I met a fellow anon by chance, we made impromptu signs and proceeded through Rundle Mall. There was an overall good response and some merry car honking at the Pultney St corner. Quite a number of well wishers who were aware of our purpose and enthused at seeing us.
Also of interest, we were made aware of the finer points of the law within the shopping district. You must be stationary to be able to hand out flyers, as walking and distributing can be viewed as making people uncomfortable. All rather arbitrary but it makes an easier job for security guards on duty. Special thanks to the anon I met along the way.

As I said on WWP, good to hear. I also had no idea about the being stationary to hand out fliers. Wonder if that's a new council thing, but it does explain the Good News Bible guy who never moves from out front of Woolies.
Remember, it only takes one Anon to shut down an org. One lone Anon in Finland shut down his local org for the entire afternoon by showing up, putting his sign by a pole and doing a dance for 5 minutes. He stayed there for an hour, iirc, but the Scilons hid for the rest of the day.
Adelaide may be small, but we're awesome!

This needs to be tested.

This time we didn't go past the org although we were planning to. Instead we were investigating an area where it was rumoured Scions had another building. However, it turned out to be owned by the Christian Scientists. I do agree it would be an interesting experiment.

That christian scientists thing had been gone over several times – YOU DO NOT GO THERE THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY.
Christ, this organization has fallen a long way from the force we were back in feb/march last year :\

I'm well aware Christian Scientists are not Scientologists, we investigated it because it was rumoured to be a Scion building. As there is a new wave of developments in the city, and the Adelaide org does not post much information online it seemed plausible.

Well I'd never heard anything about this christian scientists building since I've been Anon, either. Some of us were latecomers to the cause, and wise togusa was not around to impart this knowledge to us.

The Christian Science bldg has been there forever. I don't think they do much, really. One of our /b/rothers overseas mentioned that the Christian Scientists had posted something somewhere saying along the lines "We're not Scientologists, they're crazy!"
Anyhoo. The lowdown on the one Anon to shut down an org (and one ring to bind them…) here y'all go. I would have posted this earlier, but life has been kicking my arse, so sorry for the delay. The whole thread is lulz, but the vid is in the first post. http://forums.whyweprotest.net/121-raids/one-man-army-vs-scientology-arhus-denmark-33673/

I think I've seen this before.
I'm aware it's been done in Denmark, but you'll find that scientologists react in different ways (not that different, but subtle). I think this needs to be tested IN ADELAIDE. :P

Aye, Arhus in Denmark. Be interesting to see what, if any, results were had here. Interestink experiment!
e: Also some of the smaller cities in the US and Canada have managed to shut down an org with one Anon, but I can't remember which ones right now. Just know it's not only Denmark that's had great success there.
