The title should tell people what it's about without knowing abount Anonymous. e.g. "PROTEST THE CULT OF $CIENTOLOGY – JOIN ANONYMOUS ON  D/M/10 @ 1PM".

There may be petition templates on wwp. That's a good idea, especially because of the position we're in now.

I remember proper petition templates for the Senate inquiry on wwp a few months ago, you'll have to hunt them down.

This is just my opinion but kingdylbot did comment on why advertising isn't being done a month ahead, and I really agree. I don't think advertising for an event 4 days later will be very effective at all. I can't imagine any member of the public being able to follow the links on a flyer, educate themselves about the cult, weigh up protesting with a bunch of internet weirdos, and then organise themselves for the protest in 4 days.

I think we should concentrate on organising a protest on the 10th or whenever, and then properly miniraid to put up advertising for the March protest.

Yeah I guess prepare flyers for now and add the dates when people decide for sure.

Okay, what if we advertised each weekend instead? On the 14th its valentines day, maybe we could make a valentines themed flyer? I could try a valentines one, if anonaberfoyle works on other ones.

It sounds like most support is for the 10th for the big raid. If that doesn't work for anyone because it's mid-week, how does sometime after Valentines sound?

Protest will be the same as always, 1pm @ Victoria Square statue. Suits/shirts/ties depending on the weather & if you can manage it, but casual wear is acceptable. Protest for a couple of hours, disperse at our leisure.

Remember that the petitions are for Senator Xenuphon's office to present to parliament in support of an inquiry. A signed canvas may not be quite professional enough for parliament unfortunately.

if an anon could bring a minitable and a chair we could have someone set up on "public" property where people can sign the petition instead of getting them to sign on our backs or what ever whilst walking around. (or as well).

The petition looks good. I think there is some legality with setting up on public property without a permit as it could cause an obstruction. We could use clipboards instead, i'll pickup 2-3 cheap ones on the way to the miniraid. Could the other anons be responsible for printing the petition. If we can't decide on the protest date tonight I think the petitions will be sufficient for this round. I'll sort out the footage disk for aberfoyle and prepare a camera. I'll pm the anons who expressed interest in comming and we can organise a meeting spot ect. Around 1pm is good for me.

Aim for suits or smart casual for the miniraid.

20th gives us most time, and time is good.
