In regards to music, I think there's plenty of parody music out there we can use, the Nirvana/Rick Astley mix we used last time there was music was awesome.
As a suggestion, I say we should consider something by Richard Cheese, he does loungeroom covers of well known songs.
Also, I could organize a bigger amp than last time, though that one worked fine.
And lastly, couldn't an MSN group conversation replace IRC until we get that working?

I think the 20th is the best option.

I agree with Aberfoyle, maskless petitioning is a better idea. The wording is good, barr some spelling. I'll have a think if anything needs to be added. I'm not sure where the rolling clouds footage was sourced from. It woudn't be that difficult to make a timelapse recording one day/evening. I may be able to do that in the next few days.
We've got a small collection of music we're always wanting to improve. AnonVigil knows the playlist. Richard Cheese like it would be a good addition :)

There was talk about the raid being at around 4-5pm. Who would be able to make it if we had it at this time. Also, we can meet earlier to sort out banners and signs. There is a censorship BBQ which is being planned on the same day and if we start after 3 then we should avoid a clash.

i should have the video ready for uplaod by 2moro(comp crashed over weekend & i had to put windows 7 on)
once uplaoded ill post link here and if we get lots of continuos numbers watching it, it should then be seen by others.

We are discussing having the raid this Saturday around 4-5 depending on when people can make it.
If people want to attend the BBQ/protest the details are at EncyclopediaDramatica under Project Freeweb. However, the media has been portraying OpTitstorm and the upcomming censorship protest negatively. Also be aware the other anti-censorship groups have distanced themselved from them.
Have you all heard AnonSA's mention in the Patch Monday podcast?

anon9999 cant go to the raid if its on saturday, but i could probably go.
i like the idea of going to the barbecue as well, it could give us the much needed energy to get signatures and to let other people know about it all.

I won't be going to the censorship protest. It seems the picinic idea has been scrapped because it was related to the Block-The-Filter crowd. Also, it seems this group wouldn't welcome any other group which is somehow detracting from their protest.

Weather is looking to be dry and hot during the day, but should cool down during the evening.
- Who is able to supply a portable speaker and ipod/mp3 player for the music this round? Myself and AnonVigil can supply a working playlist.
- Does any one need masks on the day, I may have difficulty in getting them by Saturday

I'm still all good to bring along an amp, however it's a guitar amp so someone would need to provide a cable that allows an mp3 to be plugged into it. I don't own an mp3/ipod myself *sad*

I have a mp3 headset Jack to guitar amp plug so all you would need is an aux cable. So what are the exact specs of the raid for sat?

are we going to be doing anything before hand or not? I will prob be getting to city around 2ish is all. 2moros weather is suppost to be 31 and cloudy so what we wearing? Could someone bring a video cam so we can film different things and also IDE like to film peoples opinions of Scientology if they allow us to. Everyone irc chat asap.

Just wear smart casual. It's going to be hot so just wear a smart shirt. Bring your masks so we have the option of wearing them. Because it's at night perhaps it would be less scary if we don't wear masks. The camera interviews are a good idea. Hopefully we don't need an external mic to get good quality.
From what I know, Rammanon, Kingdilbert, keluc, C Anon and scapegoat have said they are comming earlier in the thread.
We'll aim to finish around 5. What happens after will depend on what others are doing.
- Come to the IRC: Just choose your nick and the link will connect you automatically.
- I've found a boom box which can do the job for music.

POSTGAME:
The raid on 6th February and a proper protest on the 20th went quite well. We got some signatures and footage. However, we were short on flyers. Next time we'll be aiming at getting the public to record their opinion about Scientology. Good work to those who were involved in planning and protesting on the day(s) :)
