As per Anon347’s post on the feedback thread, there was a call to start the ball rolling for a game plan thread so here goes!

To avoid burn out and advertising too early I suggest the following formula starting only a couple of weeks before. Also it would be good for people to update their actions here e.g. posted fliers! put guy fawkes masks on stray dogs etc.

Feel free to suggest better versions because YOUR OPINION COUNTS!

Phase One: General Awareness (Week June 29th - July 5th)

Now is the time to do the following:

  1. Put up some posters!
  2. Spread some fliers the next time you walk the dog or owl..
  3. Tell your friends what they are doing July 12th! (Make sure their free.. Get them a cheap mask)

This means we need some fliers for next week. Whos on this? Also we can use the same ones in phase 2. (A good link below about the difference between informing and "inviting" =)

http://forums.enturbulation.org/7-general-discussion/recruit-recruit-recruit-16133/

Phase Two: Miniraid in Rundlemall (Sat July 6th - 1 Weekend before)

We need the following:

  1. Volunteers - That means you ;)
  2. Fliers inviting people to participate.
  3. Ideally T-Shirts with the details of the next protest on them so I recommend buying some cheap black shirts and some cheap white art paint. Any ideas?

Phase Three: Epic Win. (July 12th)

  1. Put on a mask
  2. Be there.
  3. =)

Posters are always good.

fliers also.

I think our biggest strength is our social circles, tell people about the protests, and that they’re fun and you get to inform the general public about a dangerous cult at the same time.

Personally, I’m mostly mini raided out. I’m having a break.

I’ll be there for the major protest in a low key way.

I also suggest that if you suggest a new route, you should post a graphic of it on here ala google maps style.

I think we should at least go past the org, that way they have to keep on paying their security guards to PROTEKT THEM FROM THE NASTY INTERNETS PEOPLE MM THAT’S SOME TASTY ENTHETA.

and that’s what we’re doing,  sappin’ their monies.

I don’t think the t shirts are a great idea, that’d cost about $15 for what would be a mostly unreadable shirt, you could get what… 15 readable characters on there from a distance? not enough.

A placard would do the job a lot better, and people like to look at placards. :D

EDIT: make sure you use both sides of a placard if you do, this should be a general rule of placards.

remember that people will see us coming, and going, and take photos either way. if you didn’t see the front of most of our protests, you’d have no idea what it was about.

we need more placards and less cardboard stuff.

I'm confused, is the mini raid on Saturday or Sunday? Because it says Saturday but it also says the 6th which is Sunday…

I could probably put some posters up on bus and tram shelters.

I'm going to guess its Saturday, as most other raids have been. Many more people out and about on a Sat.

So out of curiosity who would be up for attending for a brief mini-advertsing raid on Saturday?

Any particular time suit?

Hi eos! Welcome aboard! Well our mini raid/protest will be on July 12th. It will be on 2pm @ Victoria Square as per usual. I believe the consensus is we'll be taking a slightly different route this time (to be posted up soon). This will be a slack month given winter  /exams / anov ville etc. All up being a precursor to August.

Would be good for folks to distribute some fliers if possible.

P.S. Does anyone know / can predict when the August one might be? As this is in effect a mini raid for august, it'd be good to promote a fixed date? e.g. is 4 weeks on a sat the trend so far? Perhaps it's better to peg a date like that ourselves, and promote it whist telling people to check the website closer to time?

After seeing the flyer, and realising that the particulars are probably set in stone… Scientology are hosting a Congress/intro for new members at the Fullaton Park Community Center on the 12th and 13th of July from 9:30am to 9:30pm. There will be members from the Sea Org/Freewinds there. We should start this raid in the parklands just south of Victoria Park Racecourse, and march down fullaton road to out front of the Community Center to make the biggest impact on Scientology. In this discussion we had about this on IRC, it may be a very good idea to start the raid at 9:00am so we catch everyone as they are rocking up, and before they close the doors and get going with the lectures and workshops.

Thanks to the anon who discovered all this info, you know who you are, you did a brillant job.

did a bit of recon on this place

tis a very humble, suburban community centre, set on a large block of trees and parkland (play equipment, picnic tables etc). there is a massive car park near the entrance and you can get access to all buildings without needing to go through any gates, fences or barricades and most buildings have large windows.

there is a back entrance to the main building they could use - but you'd still need to walk from the main car park, regardless. imho it would be pretty tough to 'handle' an anoymous protest down there - not as simple as plonking two security guards on one door.

NOTE: there is a Child & Youth Health drop-in facility in the very back left corner of the communty centre block. while i srsly doubt it will be open on a Saturday, i would advise all anon to remain OUT of this area, to avoid any potential footbullets or sneaky scifaggery

also, there is a caltex service station and a supermarket-style deli about two houses over - for coffee and cake supplies. have fun :D

Good work!

Given that this is not our regular shindig, it might be a good idea to post a GOOGLE MAP or even hand drawn one of where precisely to meet / stand etc.. (e.g. what is opposite the road etc assuming that's where we will be.) Also perhaps the noise should be monitored on our end too..

Another thing…
our primary audience will be (a) motorists.. thus we need our banners etc out..

and (b) possibly recruits..

You just know that what ever happens within their recuritment brain washing den will include PR propagada like “ignore those idiots outside.. they think that were disreputable blah blah, here is a sample of their propaganda.. blah blah..  they think were gonna kidnap your family, and out to steal your soul.. take a look at our prim and proper naval guard here.. they are nothing like it etc.. etc… <insert scilon humour here>, now please give a donation to our leader!”

I propose that to have ANY effect on the recruits, we need to focus our pamphlets more towards the practical etc.. E.g. none of the quasi humurous: “Xenu hates you!” or “They will abort your children with a coathanger if you enter that building,” or “Tom Cruise can't fly” sort of stuff. Perhaps handing out 8 page photo copies of the Cult of greed and power article would be better? Or focus signs on issues like where the money goes, or those who have left their family, or why are they dead etc..

Simply put.. we need to hit these people particularly with UNDENIABLE FACTS rather than the SKETCHY ones. Signs should raise the questions they DON'T want their recruits asking in Q & A. Rather than the ones they can laugh off as absurd. When they are FORCED to put their recruits at ease by addressing the presence of anonymous, and our accusations, lets make sure our signs / fliers / banners address the ones that are hardest to answer without acting ignorant. E.g whyAreTheDead.com etc.

Agree? Disagree?

I agree with thetan that we need to keep on target, keep xenu out of it (these are fresh meat, they're not meant to know the xenu story, and they'd pay money to audit it away)  we know that they've paid $195 for two days of this crap.

I think the whole “religion should be free” stuff is what we should focus on, quotes from L ron, stuff like that.

I also think we should have a “David Miscavige is Squirrelling the tech” just for some extra enturb points.
