I know some enterprising Anons are putting together an info dvd and will have a site for it so people can d/l the iso and burn discs to give out. I don't know if that's all up and running yet, but will keep you guys informed.

Obviously there are dozens if not hundreds more, but i thought id give me opinion of what would be a good thing. I know if i got handed a dvd and watched parts/all of the videos above i would have a different opinion on Scientology. Perhaps taking segments of multiple videos, and rendering it into one full quality video, noting the videos used/original links etc, to make one video with only the important info, is the way to go. I would have a go at it, but i want to get other opinions first.

I probably wouldn't add on any memes etc on the dvd, need to come across serious when its something like this, you can still add some sort of awesomeness in it with editing, and not using a meme imo, but hey whatever works best.

I like your idea, probably the easiest way to do things, however i know when i have a CD, rarely does that CD ever see a cover again, let alone its original cover. Lol anyway i would probably go with that idea.

I just thought of an idea, you know how people often email friends or their entire contact listen random shit like jokes and flash presentations etc, reckon it would be a good idea to make the dvd in the form of a PowerPoint presentation? That way it would have reduced file size and you could add some text at the start or end asking people to forward this dvd to through their contact list? I mean, if only ONE person did it, that opens up the possibility for another 20 to do it, and so on, resulting in an epic win.

Ok everyone i think we've all been a bit lagged recently in getting this month's raid going!

I've been swamped with "life," others with "holidays" and assignments etc! I get the impression I'm not alone here!

Given this month's motivation so far, perhaps it would be more practical to approach this month's raid as a smaller ~ mini-raid and conserve our efforts / advertising / CD's for next month's raid? Unless we can get some posters out there quick!

To start things rolling how about:

• Meet @ Victoria Square at 2:00pm
• Leave @ 2:15pm sharp. Walk down King William St
• Turn onto Waymouth St.
• Protest out the front of the Scientology Org for 15min – 30min.
• Walk down King William St.
• Turn onto Rundle Mall.
• Stop at the Malls Balls for 5minutes for a photo opportunity and Sing along! (Anyone got Rick Astley?)
• Continue down Rundle St to Rymill Park for a quick rest.
• Head back up the mall

Well this is just a suggestion? Please give ur input.

Hehe, i did suggest that link earlier as i thought it was a perfect piece (well the youtube link) but  like a few replies said, it might be to harsh or freaky; like you said to show people straight up. Today i was thinking about the video/presentation.

I am prepared to start now, and continue over the next few weeks (since i wont get it done in time) prepare a custom made video that will include the following:

Who is Anonymous (what sort of people we are
Why we are Anonymous (why we choose to hide our faces etc)
When did we decide to take a stand
Why did we decide to take a stand
What we believe and want as an outcome of our protests
What we arent (ie we arent hackers on steroids, religious bigots, terrorists, etc etc)

[EDIT: I will also include the scientology side to it but of course show the truth & reak facts about it]

I would basically like short sharp info to inform the viewers on the entire situation and to get the truth on why we protest, a lot of the information will be gathered from whyweprotest.net, but i will reword it all, add my own images/video footage and quotes that i will gather from dozens of youtube videos. With the end product being an MP3 or avi version of either high/low quality. Or i could do a less effect/epic version as a powerpoint for like i said, the emails.

I love creating videos, so it would be my pleasure. Does anyone have any thoughts, ideas, criticism, cake that i could use?

@ everyone – so what r ur thoughs on the raid? Shall we make it a mini-raid? Go up and down the mall? Or may be just a romp up once, distribute some pamphlets then vanish? Anonymous wants YOU to reply to this thread!

@1919 – that'd be great! I don't think we want info overload – the last cd that went out was great – it was sort of a compendium of anon material on legality against the church of scientology.. But it was a bit lulzy with some clips and a lot of text (intending to be distributable..) perhaps we should assume they have the basics such as power point and an wmv player / pdf this time. =)

I suggest this one should have less material.
E.g. For light reading, the emailable presentation (using links instead of imbeded videos (to keep the size down.)

For heavy reading – The anon GOLD pack pdf + if anyone has translated it the german governments document against scientology – plus maybe some pics of escapades in the paper e.g. proof (although that could go in the presentation). plus perhaps a video or two etc.. or a folder of them.. but basically if it looks too full on when they open the CD, it may deter people!

Anyway if u can start it, I'll gladly help out! =)

Awesome, well lets go ahead as usual.. we've gotten better over the last few months doing good quality PR damage! Lets keep it up (just to undermind Co$'s efforts over the last month with that stupid wagon sign o theirs =) I think given this month we shouldn't burn out, we haven't had time to get our stuff together and in the past we've had a quiet month or two! So for those who can come that'll be awesome! Even if we do a subued raid =)  Bah haha! Still laughing at that comment =)

Just something quickly, rather than distrubuting cds/fliers why not setup a mailing list? i.e., you get people's email addy's, and then email them moar info en masse later on? not sure if this has already been done, as this will be my first protest, but just a suggestion.
