Whoever does the coding here on the forums, is it possible to implement pms between users? The reason I ask is because of this fabulous and utterly lulzy tactic employed by the San Diego anons. (I laughed my arse off!)

I had a look at the guys who created the Simple Forum plugin for wordpress, and it looks like that it has been replaced with this thing called "Press Forum", and that has private messaging.

If it's possible to migrate and keep userdata, that's all very well.

but considering the nature of this particular root of anonymous, eg from the chans, I don't think people would mind basically nuking the forums and starting over, with more features. eg a private messaging system. (also if it's priv, people can exchange important details which should not be public if they choose to, such as this if they choose).

I think we should post a thread to decide if we nuke the forums and start over if neccessary or not, but only if you go for it.

 basically we could have a 'nuke date' and people who want to save threads should do it by x date if neccessary.

another feature is polls. which personally, I think would be VERY  VERY handy for anonymous. it would aid our decision making process a LOT.

also search, also nice pretty links, spam prevention, guest and member only forums.

Ok… Looks like Polls are working.

And hopfully I've made it so you guys can use them (its a bit messy, but better then not).

1. Go Into WordPress Admin
2. Click on Manage
3. Click Democracy Poll
4. Add a Poll with whatever options you want
5. Where ever you want the poll type n
   {democracy:poll-id}

   where poll-id is from the democracy admin page.

I think there are little security restrictions on the poll creation page so dont go messing with the options or delete/mess with other peoples polls, I will remove the ability to use it if it gets abused.
