just wondering where we stand with the internet censorship by the government( probably with a big helping hand from Scientology members)?

is it still going ahead, whats happening, haven't heard anything on the news about it.

Not much seems to be happening at the moment. Scientology has expressed interest in the filter, although I don't think it will save it from its own transgressions. Hopefully we wont have a great wall of our own. We've been keeping an eye on it and can post updates when there is someting to report :)

Conroy is planning to introduce legistation in early 2010 for mandatory ISP filtering of restricted content.

There is a good explanation on Whirlpool of the recent events and things we can do:

Nation-wide protests are being held on the 31st of January, 2010 from 12pm to 3pm.

http://www.operationdilbert.org/

This isn't an Anon raid (no masks), however it is a serious issue I think we should all be willing to fight against.

If anyone is interested you can PM me here or add me on MSN: ianarchist@hotmail.com for more info on the Adelaide raid, or it will be posted in the Facebook events page/main website when plans are finalized.

Hope to see some support from you guise!

Operation Dilbert seems to be down. Are you aware of the EFF's planned protests?

was thinking that next time we are doing a raid that we have 2 people without mask that go around collecting signatures for the anti-filter movment.

also we could maybe hit the local shopping centers with petition (without masks) and just do the anti filter signing.

what you all think?
