Sorry for the downtime on the website, the host changed the physical server that this site is hosted on, and that has broken WordPress-Gallery2 plugin (should just be a simple change of a path to fix).
I have disabled the plugin for now, but I'll get on fixin it, and I'll do a long overdue upgrade of Wordpress itself (which hopefully won't break anything).
Sorry I haven't been active for quite a long time, been busy doin other things n' all.. I won't let this site fall into dis-repair though – the community is still well active, and as long as it is, I'll continue to mantain this site.

Ok, done the maintanence for now, everything seems to be working without problems
- Upgraded Wordpress to 2.8.4
- Upgraded Gallery2 to 2.3
- Upgraded WordPress-Gallery2 Plugin and fixed paths
- Upgraded various other plugins for Gallery2 & Wordpress
If anyone is having any problems with the site, let me know via IRC or this thread, and I'll get on em.

Im still here, passed most of the content admin duties onto AnonVigil, You have the forums… As long as there are still people here, I will keep the site alive.
Speaking of which, I have had a request from the State Library/The PANDORA project to perminantly archive our site, and remain a part of South Australian History for ever. I accepted the reqest. ;)

Sorry for the outage, the host's network was bought down over night which created some connectivity issues. This morning however, after everything came back up, this site continued to have issues in the way of the 500 errors that were being displayed. I stuck a quick index.htm onto the server to explain that its down and sent a support request through. I got this reply about the issue at hand:
- Basically, after the network outage started happening, we had to reseat the Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) that was no longer being used. Once the GBIC was reseated the network started working correctly. In fact, all of the problems and packet loss went away again.
They also provided instructions on how to rectify the error several wordpress blogs were having after the server outage. This involved changing the template back to default and then, after being able to access the site, change it back to how it was.

Still having issues with accessing the Admin panel for just the forums. I am going to upgrade the forum software to 4.1.2 – this is a major upgrade, and there will be forum-downtime during the process, I will backup the database and the plugin directory so it can be rolled back if necessary. I am expecting teething-issues after the upgrade.

Forums upgraded without issue. If anyone wants any extra/custom smilies in the forum, email them to david@anonsa.org along with the BBCode you want to use to trigger them :)
