Next Protest: Saturday, November 22nd @ Victoria Square, 2pm

ANONTRIP: Operation Anonville - July 26th

June 21, 2008 1:04 pm by Anonymous

Well after the success of Sea AARGH, here’s another opportunity for Anonymous.

UPDATE FOR EPIC PROMO VIDEO:

pasted from the Anonville Wiki.

July 26, 2008 marks the 7 month anniversary since the release of the now infamous “Message to Scientology” video on youtube, the day that the majority of Anons consider to be the start of our campaign proper. The protests so far have been going AMAZINGLY so far… but it’s time to cause another ’stir’. 2/10 shook Scientology up because they didn’t think we’d pull it off. 3/15 shook them up again because they didn’t think we’d follow through a second time… but we need to outdo ourselves again, we need to shake the very foundation of Scientology and the public.

I have heard from dozens of Anons who have proposed that, in order to better demonstrate our strength and numbers, as well as our dedication, a series of “super-scaled” rallies should be held instead of the traditional small turnout-lots of cities format we’ve been using.

What do I mean by super-scaled? Each city that holds a super-rally will have a goal for their protest: to reach several times their city’s record for protesters, essentially turning the area of the city near the Scientology center into “Anonville” for the day.

So if you want to have some fun with some other Anons, and wouldn’t mind a holiday to Sydney to party and protest with others from all around Australia, here’s an opportunity for you and your friends.

So what do you think about it?
Are you going to come?

NOW is the time to start planning the trip.

I think getting a bus organised so many anon could go is what we shoud do, we could make a real event of this, ANON ROADTRIP.

people are still welcome to organise their own flights.

All Hands on Deck for Operation Sea Arrrgh!

June 6, 2008 6:08 pm by mrDogfud

It’s may be hard to believe it Anonymous, but here we stand at the brink of our fifth protest against the cult of Scientology. Our message is slowly filtering through:

  • tax exempt status is for non-profit/charity organisations, not greedy cults
  • Scientology policies of ‘Fair Game’ and ‘Disconnection’ deserve a Governmental inquiry
  • the definition of ‘religion’ needs to be altered to ensure protection of the human rights of those in a religion, or leaving a religion

Clearly we do not present radical or extreme views. When given the opportunity to examine for themselves, the public understands this too. Our movement can only grow. But it’s up to all of us to get out and show our numbers, on the streets, this Saturday June 14 at 2pm for Operation Sea Arrrgh! All hands on deck!!

For the n00bs (or to refresh), here’s some recommended items to bring on the day:

  1. A fun attitude (and your friends)
we need music & lulz & dancing & chants & more lulz
  2. Masks (and black clothes/suits, where possible)
if u can’t locate a guy fawkes mask, there are plenty of El Cheapo masks in various stores, or become a t-shirt ninja for the day
  3. Pirate booty
    hats, eye patches, balloon swords
  4. Signs
think: short, legible message about our protest against Scientology
  5. Flyers (or Cards, Brochures, Info Disks etc)
print em out, photocopy them, cut them out, burn em off: give em out
  6. Food/water
caek, chocolate dubloons, lollies - water is a must & consider a crazy straw or plan HOW TO drink with your mask on
  7. A backpack or greenie bag might help you too

AND educate yourself about the cause, so you can answer any Qs you might get about the Sea Org or other Scientology related stuff.

Good training video for New Anonymous:

Yarrr let’s make the maiden voyage of the Sea Arrrgh a total lulz fest!
Give people something to smile about on their Saturday afternoon, while keel-hauling the progress of Scientology in South Australia and beyond the furthest seas! Onwards - yarrr!!!

Operation “Pop goes the lulz” a success

Uni SA Mag - “Entropy” Anonymous article

May 27, 2008 8:31 pm by Anonymous

Anonymous managed to get an interview in the latest “Entropy” mag produced by UniSA in the may issue.

The article is on page 17.

Choice quote:

ENTROPY: And a cult, how is it different to a religion?
ANONYMOUS: We’re not basing the ‘cult’ label on its beliefs – rather, on its practices. Apart from its now-infamous Fair Game policy, Scientology also discourages members from having contact with non-Scientologists, except for recruitment purposes.

You’re also required to cease any communications with anyone who is sceptical of the Church – their infamous Disconnection policy. They also try to silence any criticism – like the Tom Cruise video. They even attacked Time Magazine for an article that referred to them as a ‘greedy and dangerous cult’.

Great stuff, keep up the good work people, you do good work and you get noticed.

The article is available from the Entropy site or through our hosted copy Here.

June Mini-Event #1: Operation Ninja Crashers

May 22, 2008 1:58 pm by mrDogfud

Congratulations on all your efforts lately, Anonymous. Public awareness of our movement and our cause continues to grow. We are winning hearts and minds. Our message is being heard and understood. Good work, Anonymous.

…but this is not the time to get complacent!!

It’s time to gear up for next month’s raid Operation Sea ARRRGH! which will climax on June 14 at 2pm in Victoria Square. We need to spend the next few weeks recruiting as many buccaneers to the cause as possible. Posters, stickers, cards, other viral marketing etc: get em out everywhere. Tell all your friends; get on board the good ship Anonymous!

Anonymous is also planning several mini-events, specifically designed to increase our numbers for the main event. The first of these mini-events is Operation Ninja Crashers, going down this Saturday May 24 (2.30-4) in Hindmarsh Square.

There is a Facebook meet-up event planned for that time, at that location, for self-declared ninjas. Anonymous plans to infiltrate, convert and otherwise win-over these ninjas to the Anonymous cause (using ninja-specific hand-outs etc).

There will be moar mini-events leading up to June 14 (a Popeye cruise? a Free Hugs run?). But only if you get into the forums or the IRC and start organising!
