For those of you who are concerned about your name appearing if you sign the petition, we will be gathering public signatories and mixing up anon signatories amongst them, meaning your anonymity remains intact as you blend in with the general public. Few specifics are required, just names, signatures and your region. Please read this draft version of the petition and suggest as many changes as you like. The Petition of the undersigned shows:

That the public has become aware of the human rights abuses and corporate nature of Scientology. By exhibiting this behaviour we feel that Scientology is abusing its Tax Exempt Status and the rights of Australian Citizens.

Your Petitioners ask/request that the Senate should:

• conduct a public inquiry into the practices of Scientology be undertaken to reveal the true extent of their “Fair Game” and “Disconnection” policies in Australia.
• order the ATO to Audit the Church of Scientology to show the amount of tax exempt dollars used for charitable work.
• consider that a third principle be added to the High Court definition of religion, being that a religion “must ensure the Human Rights of its practitioners (past, present and future) are not abused in any way as a result of joining, practicing, leaving the religion.
